Here’s the next chapter of my Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir/Stargate SG-1/BtVS crossover fic ‘A Plague of Serpents’ (Sequel to ‘Debt of Blood’). This chapter is 7,150 words, rating R. It’s been a very long gap, since December, but at last here is the next chapter of the BtVS/Baldur’s Gate 2 crossover ‘Tabula Avatar’. Previous chapters can be found HERE – and you’ll probably need to refresh your memories after all this time. Rating R; this chapter is 9,000 words.

A couple of months ago, led astray by the Wombat’s Lord of the Rings obsession, I began re-reading all the Éomer/Lothíriel stories at the Pit of Voles and a few other archives. One outcome of that was the Winnie the Pooh/Lord of the Rings crossover story, told in drabble form, posted here recently. The other outcome, alas, had a much more drastic impact upon my fic writing.

I was smitten, once again, with the desire to write my own Éomer/Lothíriel tale. Of course I don’t write straightforward romances, and most of the possible twists have already been covered by lialathuveril with a skill and flair that would be almost impossible to match. And so what burned its way into my brain, and absolutely refused to get out until I started writing the story, was a crossover scenario. I’m afraid I’ve been writing this when I really should have been working on the WIPs for which readers are waiting; I just couldn’t resist.

Here is Part One: a massive 12,200 words. Rating PG13 bordering on R. Crossover between ‘The Lord of the Rings’ (Book-verse) and the ‘Forgotten Realms’ stories set in the ‘Dungeons and Dragons’ game-world of Faerûn. This is the canon Forgotten Realms, in which ‘Tabula Avatar’ and its sequels never happened, and very bad things happened instead.

Summary: the good Drow goddess Eilistraee killed her brother Vhaeraun and then was slain herself. The headquarters of Eilistraee’s religion was overrun and her worshippers massacred. In the aftermath some of the survivors decide to flee to another world and discover a way of reaching Middle Earth. Meanwhile Éomer of Rohan is carrying on a promising romance with Princess Lothíriel of Dol Amroth; however a vengeful Haradrim warlord plans a devastating attack. The Drow refugees arrive just in time to get involved. Unfortunately in Middle Earth ‘black’ is almost a synonym for ‘evil’…

...Or, Bear and Back Again.

No ‘Five Times’ drabble today – I’ve been busy with something else. At the beginning of July the Lord of the Rings fanfic site Lotrfanfiction.com was bought by an entrepreneur named Keith Mander (promptly dubbed ‘SaruMander’ by some bloggers), who already owned a Twilight site and a Winnie the Pooh site, and he spoke of his intention to conflate the Twilight and Lord of the Rings fandoms. I posted here challenging him to prove his fandom credentials by writing an Éomer/Lothíriel fic involving Winnie the Pooh and Twilight crossovers. Although I was joking I found I couldn’t resist doing it myself and I have, at last, finished it.

Here is the result. A ‘Winnie the Pooh as the Tenth Walker’ story, with some Twilight, told in the form of twelve 100-word drabbles. Rating R. My usual Gimli/Galadriel obsession creeps in, of course…

There's a story at Twisting the Hellmouth called 'Five times Dawn and Sam had hot, dirty sex (and one time they didn't)'. Apparently it's a 'Supernatural' crossover but I have zero interest in 'Supernatural' and so I haven't read it. However to me 'Sam' automatically means one of several far more famous fictional characters and therefore, on seeing the title, I jumped to some rather different conclusions. This is the first of a series of 6 drabbles based on my erroneous assumptions. 100 words, rating R or maybe NC-17.

Here is the third chapter of my BtVS/Conan crossover The Witch’s Promise. I'd forgotten to post Chapter Two here; I've only just realised and rectified that. The story so far; Willow, trying to bring back Tara from death in ‘Seeing Red’/‘Villains’, is offered the chance to divert her to the Hyborian Age instead of to the realms of the dead. She accepts – but now Tara is stranded in a far-off, and long ago, alternate past. Luckily Tara has made a (hot, lesbian) friend...

Crossover between ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ and the ‘Conan’ stories of Robert E. Howard. Rating R. May contain traces of femslash. This instalment is exactly 6,000 words.

( The Witch’s Promise: Chapter Three )

I has committed Potterfic! It’s not a fandom that appeals to me, as you may know, but I was reading a BtVS/HP crossover at ‘Twisting the Hellmouth’ and suddenly an idea struck me. This is a BG2/HP crossover within the same ‘Tabula Avatar’ AU as my previous story Professional Relationship (in which Bhodi and Doyle become private detectives in Los Angeles) and is absolutely not to be considered canon for TA. For amusement only.

Summary; Instead of fighting to the death against Randy and Joan’s posse Bodhi’s crew leaves Sunnydale. Bodhi goes to Los Angeles (see above) and Tanova goes to – Hogwarts! Rowling’s timeline for the Potter!Verse has been drastically altered to fit my purposes and this takes place during Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. PG, exactly 1,000 words.
