I've just been putting IGTBP Chapter 15 up on the website, had a look at the stats while I was doing it, and saw a referral that had come from a Google search for walrus ben adam

Now, was this a genuine search by someone who'd forgotten my pen-name but was looking for my fics, or is there really a "Walrus ben Adam" in the Middle East somewhere?

More likely he was born in Brooklyn, to Jewish parents who were Beatles fans.

In fact, I am now visualizing him. He was born the day John Lennon was shot, and has a twin sister named Dakota. Or Ono. Or Ono Dakota.

And the bar and bat mitzvahs were held in Strawberry Fields in Central Park.

I'm going to end up using Walrus ben Adam in a fic sometime, I just know it. Possibly a BtVS one, but possibly a crossover between Battlestar Galactica and Spaceballs.

My money is on someone looking for your fic, because the alternatives are too frightening to contemplate. I'm not sure I told you that I finally got to read Walrus, because I was kind of speechless afterward (in a good way). Wow. I'm fairly certain you'll never cease to amaze me. *g*

I don't know; Adam isn't in the fic, except in a passing reference to the joining spell from "Primeval", walrus Spike Buffy would have been a much better search. Although, I had a look at the search myself and I didn't see anything else remotely logical.

The challenge that inspired IATW was a weird one. My first thought for the non-Dawn Key was an Elephant Seal; I was going to tie it in with the Seal of Danthazar. But then I shifted from an Elephant Seal to a walrus, and the rest is history.

Hello I'm just commenting to tell you how much I love your buffy fic and my favourite has to be the I was made for Loving you series.

Your story about the buffy bot completely captivated me from start to finish, watching her transform into Violet and seeing how she managed to change season six was really wonderfull and if it ends with that story it's great but I hope you continue it.

Don't worry, I'm definitely going to continue "I was made for loving you baby". It's just that, as I'm fairly close to the end of "It's got to be perfect", I've decided to concentrate on that for a while and get it finished before I return to Violent Elizabeth Bott.
