Major new talent alert

Then felt I when some watcher of the skies
When some new planet swims into his ken
Or possibly his barbie.

[livejournal.com profile] frimfram has finally started posting her Victorian William story The Other Side of the Tracks. I've been looking forward to it for ages and it hasn't disappointed. Sheer magic. William, Dru, railway stations, gratuitous bloodshed, sex, and (appearing in a future chapter) Arthur Conan Doyle.

If you don't fear WIPs go read. If you do, be comforted by the knowledge that she's written a lot more than has been posted so far. She is AWESOME.

[livejournal.com profile] curiouswombat has made substantial progress with her first long story, a Dawn future fic, and will be posting chapter one soon, probably tonight. I might be a little biased but I think it's pretty damn good too. Look out for it on her LJ.

Now off to grab a quick shave before I rush off to work.
