Ao isn't going to play any part in this story at all. As he's basically an analogue of God (except for one paragraph of the Avatar Trilogy in which it is revealed that even he has a master), and as his only interactions with the Realms are many years apart and only serve to screw things up, I'm going to keep him out of it and leave open the question of whether or not he even exists in this 'verse.
