Birthday greetings and a bout of insecurity

I'm a little disappointed with the reaction, or lack of it, to Chapter 8 of Dojo Hard that I posted yesterday. There have been only 3 comments and I usually get significantly more than that. Was it because I posted it on a Saturday during the summer, and most people missed it, or was it because it was't funny enough? The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind unknown to me. This reminder is just in case it was because everybody missed it. If it wasn't funny enough, well, there isn't really anything that I can do about that except try harder in the next chapter.
