After a long hiatus I am returning to my ‘Queequeg’ series of Angel: The Series/Moby Dick crossover drabbles, in which the Powers That Be send Queequeg the Harpooner to be Angel’s seer instead of Doyle. Although all the previous drabbles have been light-hearted there is a dramatic change of mood in these. Previous instalments are HERE. 2 x 100 words, PG-13.

Number nine in my ‘Nantucket Slayride’ series of AtS/Moby Dick crossover drabbles. Two in quick succession because I wanted to get this one up while it is still a certain ‘International Day’, at least in California, although I’ve missed it by nearly seven hours in my own time zone. Previous instalments are HERE. 100 words, PG-13.

Surprise! )

Here’s another of AtS/Moby Dick crossover drabbles. A little out of correct sequence, it takes place during an alternative version of ‘Epiphany’ and so should precede ‘Ditzharmony’. This should be number seven, and 'Ditzharmony' should be number eight. I’ll correct the order in Memories later, I think.

I have a provisional series title now; ‘Nantucket Slayride’.

Previous parts are HERE.

100 words, PG-13. I think.

Happy birthday [livejournal.com profile] ezagaaikwe

and... Vive la France! Vive la France!

For [livejournal.com profile] kallysten and [livejournal.com profile] frenchani and [livejournal.com profile] syderia, and also because they’re not Brazil.

Spamming today, this is my third post. I posted number six in my series of AtS/Moby Dick crossover drabbles this morning, and now here is episode seven eight (I messed up and posted this one before the real episode seven. Sorry.). The previous ones are HERE. Still lacking an overall series title so that I can post them at ‘Twisting the Hellmouth’.

This one is 100 words as usual, PG-13 for innuendo. Inspired by a comment made by [livejournal.com profile] bogwitch - that apparently I misunderstood, as she was thinking pop culture and I was thinking classic movie.

And here is number six in my series of AtS/Moby Dick crossover drabbles. The previous ones are HERE. I’m still pondering an overall series title so that I can post them at ‘Twisting the Hellmouth’ but so far I’m coming up blank.

100 words, PG-13.

I slept without difficulty today, and my fingers are healing; the blisters are no longer painful and – I can type again! Let there be much rejoicing! Thanks to all the well-wishers.

I should be able to get on with the WIPs tomorrow. For now I’m celebrating with another in my series of AtS/Moby Dick crossover drabbles, following on from Call Me Ishmael, Thanks for all the Fish, and The Snarking of the Hunt . I still need an overall series title before I can start posting it at ‘Twisting the Hellmouth’. 100 words, rating PG for cruelty to animals.

I haven’t time to work on long fics during my work nights but here’s another drabble in my AtS/Moby Dick crossover series, following on from Call Me Ishmael and Thanks for all the Fish. I haven’t thought of an overall title for the series yet, but I do know that there will be more to come. 100 words, rating G (for now).

My Angel/Moby Dick crossover drabble the other day turned out not to be a one-off after all. Here’s a second. 100 words, PG.

Spamming today; this is my second post. This morning I put up Chapter Three of Life, Resumed, and then I had one of my attacks of raving insanity. Here is the result; a drabble crossing over Angel Season One with – Moby Dick! 100 words, PG.

ETA: I've just posted an Angelus-dusting fic at [livejournal.com profile] 1001waysto_dust. Fatal Boob, 250 words, PG.

I haven't posted at all for over a week, and I've missed a few birthdays.

Belated happy birthdays to [livejournal.com profile] sarcasticbitca, Sandy aka [livejournal.com profile] sp23, and [livejournal.com profile] treiza.
On-time Happy Birthday to [livejournal.com profile] bloodshedbaby.

I'm plodding away at my entry for [livejournal.com profile] ludditerobot's "Scatterlings and Orphanages" Africander ficathon. The story is called "Lonely on the Mountain" and it's set in Malawi, where I lived for six years, but despite that advantage it's still not coming easily. It’s due on the 19th; but I go back to work on the 16th and so effectively that's when I've got to have it finished. I don't think I'll ever sign up to a ficathon again.

However during a discussion about the ficathon [livejournal.com profile] ludditerobot mentioned having written a drabble about Xander stuck in the Sahara and so I decided to do one as well. This is the result. 100 words, rating G. The Riddle of the Sands )
