Sometimes I despair of humanity

Came home from work this morning to find that the Evil Warmongering Party has won the British elections and Tony B. Liar is still Prime Minister. I suppose it is marginally better than the Racist Evil Warmongering Party winning, but there's not really a lot of difference between the bastards these days. If only the people of Sedgefield had done the decent thing and voted B. Liar out of the seat so that he couldn't be Prime Minister any more and an actual human could do the job.

But what really makes me despair of humanity is having just heard J-Lo's current single on "Top of the Pops". "Bad" isn't a strong enough word for it; if people are stupid enough to buy that piece of utter shit it's no wonder they're stupid enough to elect a grinning megalomaniac warmonger as their ruler.
