Question for the Hivemind

In the British Isles there is a type of sweet (‘candy’ to Americans) called Jelly Babies. I need to know a US equivalent. It doesn’t have to be made of the same material but it does have to be shaped like a human infant. If no such thing exists, and I have a horrible feeling that it doesn’t, then is there anywhere in Los Angeles that British confectionery can be purchased?

This is my last night at work for a while. I have my usual 5 nights off, then 5 nights of holiday (‘vacation’ in American) during which I’m going to the WriterCon UK midimeet, and then 5 nights off. I should be able to get quite a lot of writing done so expect some updates soon.
