We have a result; the giant Jurassic pliosaur liopleurodon conclusively won my poll on the subject of which marine predator was jumped by Buffy Season 8 Issue 34, even though I'd forgotten to capitalise 'Jurassic'.

I'm delighted; it's one of my all-time favourite marine predators. Amazingly cute for a gigantic carnivore; rather like a 15-metre penguin with teeth.

And it would make a much better UK Prime Minister than either Gordon Brown or David Cameron - although not as good as Aleksandr Orlov.
