Belated happy birthdays to [livejournal.com profile] empresspatti, [livejournal.com profile] daibhid_c, [livejournal.com profile] constance_b and [livejournal.com profile] audela.

I hate, loathe, and despise 'Masterchef' with a deep and abiding passion. Just saying.

Here is a poll, just for my own amusement, about the female original characters who I have featured in my stories.

[Poll #1141617]

Can't say I blame you. I catch a minute or two now and again by accident, and always wish I hadn't.

CW insists on watching it - if I'm not asleep I have to clamp headphones over my ears and immerse myself in computer games or music videos to avoid it.

I do not know this "Masterchef" of which you speak; but assume it's a reality show. A pox on all reality shows!

Also, I just love "Cloak of Mist".

Why is it necessary to mix cooking with sadism? Apparently when they taste the dishes they are all cold because they've spent so long getting pretty photos. Says it all really.

I loved your Anne Collingwood, but I really prefer canon characters, so I ticked both.

It was tolerable in the old days, when it was impersonal and detached and there was Lloyd Grossman's accent to make fun of, but when they revived it they seemed to decide that it needed an element of nastiness to fit into the 21st century.

I really, really must read some more of your fic - there's too many characters I just don't recognise from the names. Either that, or my memory's shot. *grin*

Did you finish 'The Hour of the Troll'? You didn't comment and I had put a mild Argos joke in especially for you.

Thanks for the birthday wishes!

I chose Anne Collingwood, but it was tough to choose one favorite because I loved Nonoma’e’e too. And Bahey Dhone. And Sorkatani's pretty good too. So's Amestris.

And speaking of Nonoma’e’e... I'd love to see more of her, one day? maybe?

Thank you! Yes, I will definitely continue Nonoma'e'e's story; I can only do it when I'm feeling lively and well, as the research necessary makes it much harder work than some of the other stories, and on dark gloomy winter days I usually don't have that much energy.

Not a LJ member, so I can´t participate, but definitely Sorkatani. Having Zhang Zhiyin traveling with the Scoobies *and* the BG2 people makes it all the more better. ^^
