'Black Bartlemy's Treasure', Jeffrey Farnol.
I've got lots of obscure pulp SF novels, some brilliant, some crap, but LJ is exactly where readers of that sort of thing are likely to crop up. The most obscure is probably 'Anton York, Immortal' by Eando Binder.


A CD LP you own that no one on your friends list does:

'Pigs Like Cheese', Sulby Phantom Band. Local Manx band, utterly crap.
It's likely that no-one else on my FList has any Runrig albums, and I've got everything they ever released. Very much not crap.


A DVD/VHS tape you own that no one on your friends list does:

'The One Armed Boxer II', also known as 'Master of the Flying Guillotine', starring Jimmy Wang Yu.
I doubt if anyone has 'Babycart in the Land of Demons' either.


A place you've been that no one on your friends list has been:

The M'Patamanga Gorge, on the Shire River in Malawi. I am the only person in all of recorded history who has worn two vests (UK English for undershirts) to visit the Gorge. I was at boarding school in Blantyre, 4,000 feet above sea level, and the cold south-easterly wind called the Chiperoni was blowing and bringing drizzle. I wore two vests under my school shirt, perfectly appropriate in that weather. Then my parents came to take me out for the day, and we descended into the M'Patamanga Gorge, 190 feet above sea level, where the temperature was 120 degrees Fahrenheit (49 degrees C). I didn't actually melt, but it was a damn close run thing.
