I start working the night shift tonight. 10 pm to 8 am, and that means I'll have to leave the house at 21.10 (20 minutes from now) and will get home probably about 08.45 tomorrow morning. I will then eat and go to bed. I will work 5 nights, then have 5 nights off, repeat indefinitely.

That means that on the cycle when I'm at work I'll have only about 4 waking hours at home each day. Writing will be minimal; I might not even be able to keep up with reading my F-list. To counter that, the 5 days off out of each 10 will give me plenty of spare writing time, and so my overall productivity might go up.

However to a large extent this is goodbye from me for the next 5 days; apart from doing a birthday post for [livejournal.com profile] evilawyer tomorrow, of course, I wouldn't miss that! Can't promise any birthday fic, however.
