The voting for the LJ Advisory Board position ends on the 29th. I've already voted. If you haven't then please do so and give at least one of your preferences to legomymalfoy. I voted early and gave my votes to 3 other people, as legomymalfoy don't impress me much, but he/she does seem to be the person with the best chance of stopping jameth from winning. I didn't know of jameth before the election but on the basis of his campaign (actively hostile to fandom), and on the actions of his supporters (many of them stupendously obnoxious trolls), I'd judge him to be a worse choice than the ghosts of Khwarezm Shah Alaeddin Mohammed or of Gavrilo Princep.

ETA: having now been to jameth's journal and taken a look at some of the things he's been saying I've reconsidered. He'd be a worse choice than Robert Mugabe, Senior General Than Shwe of the Burmese Junta, or indeed than almost anyone short of the late Colonel the Reverend John M. Chivington of the 3rd Colorado Volunteer Cavalry (the worst human being who has ever existed on this planet IMO). I've reluctantly changed my vote to include legomymalfoy because I don't think Squeaky has any chance of winning and jameth must be stopped.

I've been playing 'Neverwinter Nights' instead of writing for the past couple of days. This is because I haven't been able to screw up the courage to write the exceedingly nasty things that are due to happen to a couple of characters in the current chapters of both 'Access All Areas' and 'Tabula Avatar'; switching over to stories in which no such events are scheduled, such as 'Came the Thunder' or 'Life, Resumed', hasn't worked because the screams are drowning out the other character voices. I've managed to make a start on 'Came the Thunder' today, however, and I have to stay up for the whole night to get back onto my night working sleep pattern and so I have the equivalent of a whole working day ahead of me in which I hope to get a reasonable amount done. Maybe even a whole chapter.
