Fic: A Plague of Serpents Chapter Two

Here is Chapter Two of the world’s first ‘Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir’ fanfic. Set in the ‘Tabula Avatar’ universe rather than the official game world, incorporating the changes that Buffy and Co. have made to Faerûn, but otherwise not a crossover. Five years on from ‘Tabula Avatar’ and may contain spoilers. I estimated that the story would be 30,000 words long but it looks as if I’m going to be way over that; because I want it to be accessible to readers who have never played the game I’m having to spend time describing characters and settings whereas in a pure fanfic their names suffice. I wrote 6,000 of this chapter’s 7,250 words in 2 days, however, so it will probably be completed fairly quickly if I can keep that pace up. Rating about PG-13 so far although it may climb later.
