I am unwell

I am not well. I have a massive abscess in my groin and it is extremely painful. I’m really not able to do anything much at the moment; I can’t sit in a comfortable position to type. I won’t be going to work tomorrow, the first time in more than a year that I’ve been off, and I can’t see me being well enough to go in the next day either unless the antibiotics work much better than the doctor expects. Normally I would regard being off work as a chance to get some writing done but not being able to sit in a good typing position rather wrecks that idea.
