My Angel/Moby Dick crossover drabble the other day turned out not to be a one-off after all. Here’s a second. 100 words, PG.

Thanks for all the fish

Angel and Queequeg returned to Angel’s apartment after dusting Russell. They heard a scream from the office above, raced up the stairs, and found Cordelia Chase holding a duster.

“A cockroach!” she shrieked.

Queequeg harpooned it.

“Way to go, Queequeg,” Cordelia beamed. She admired his tattoos. “Cool! Kinda tribal, huh?”

“Done by a shaman who said they contained the ultimate question. I’ve never been able to read them,” Queequeg replied.

Cordelia peered closely at the tattoos. “Hey, I can read this,” she announced. “No worse than Harmony’s handwriting. It says ‘What do you get if you multiply six by nine?’”
